oily scalp and dry hairWhat type of hair do I have?

To really know what type of hair you have, you just have to do an easy test to your scalp; as the same of the skin type you could have oily, dry or normal.

To distinguish your type, just rub your index in your scalp for one minute and place your finger in a cigarette paper and if your hair is greasy you will see a noticeable oily mark on it, and if is normal just will appear like a sweaty finger print, and if your hair is dry will just appear the finger print… that’s all.

This test has to be done 2 or 3 days after a shampoo.
If your have oily hair, believe it or not the reason is that you have a dry scalp…and believe me, even if you wash it every day will feel better but will not solve your problem…

What can I do?
Use a Suave shampoo like baby shampoo or buy natural based shampoo they have less quantity of quimicals, like Aveda, Neutrogena, L’occitane etc.

The quimical shampoo make your scalp to be dry and so has to work harder to lubricate the entire head.
Be realistic that you wont see an immediate change, but be patient your hair will find the perfect equilibrium that is searching and you will notice that your hair will not look and feel so oily..
