Is important to understand smoky eyes, is to create an illusion around the eye and brings up the features of your face; so you won’t need to place more makeup in your face, just lip gloss and ready to go.

Materials for Creating Smoky Eyes

Concealer
Loose translucent powder
Black eye liner pencil
Black eye shadow or Brown shadow in a powder
Light beige ivory shadow (or any color that you may want)
Black mascara
Eye shadow brush with a sponge tip for smudging
Eye shadow brush made of hair
Applying Smoky Eye Makeup

1. Apply around the eye with moisturizer and concealer.

2. Don’t forget to apply loose powder under the eye area, just in case if some eye shadow flies around. It can be brushed off after application easily.

3. Using the black eye lining pencil, line both the upper and lower inner eye. Always begin from the inside of the eye and work outward. Use the sponge brush to gently smudge to create that hot smoke look. Doesn’t have to be perfect, because is a “smoky look”

4. The next step is to apply the black shadow. A powder works well for blending; if you have the press eye shadow… (Simple! just scratch a little so it can become loose powder.)
Apply shadow beginning in the inner eye and following the line towards the outer portion of the eye. Use very little shadow. You want to create Smokey look.

5. Don’t forget to apply the shadow to the under the eye area as well. Color should be more concentrated as you move outward, to open more the eye. Blend both top and bottom lines together to create one smooth shadow line.

6. The Final Touch! Blend in recommended in a circular motion working outward and up. This will create that desire look… Smoky eyes.
The light beige or ivory shadow can be applied under the brow bone and on the inner corner of the eye to highlight. Apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes & don’t forget to dust off any loose translucent powder, put lip gloss and you are ready to go!
