What is tanorexia
Tan-norexia: The name says it all tanning problem; also called sun worshipers. I know, sounds funny, but true.
This word is used to describe people that usually like to get tan no matter how they do it; sun tanning or bed tanning salon. This is a big mistake now in days, mistake because it is really dangerous for the long run to somebody if is sunbathing too frequently. I’m going to say it that woman between the ages 20-40 tend to have this disease (tanorexia) more that man.
People know now more than ever that you can catch skin cancer is all over the magazines, news etc. The word is out there to prevent all the early aging and hundreds of skin cancers but people still do tan or over tan (tanorexia)… If is like there’s no tomorrow.
The media, magazines, even the movie stars, models; everybody is looking kind of toasty. Even sponge bob has a chapter about this topic.
…But you must look sexy by having a tan or a supper tan… (This is what these “tanorexic” people think ) In actuality tanning make you look much older, just in case you didn’t know.
This is the new look today. Well this is when it comes to the word tanorexia; when people don’t know where to stop tanning and they still think they look pale and their not pale anymore, there peeling toasted orange.. …they just have an addiction to tanning.
